Cut Out and Shape cookies. Using a knife and a ruler, cut out rectangles measuring 4 x 2 in. in size. Or you can use a rectangle cookie cutter. Form one 2 in. side into pointed end by cutting off top and bottom corners on a diagonal to form tag shape.

Cut hole in cookies for string. Use the wide end of tip 12 to cut hole near the pointed end of the cookie.

Bake and cool.

Ice cookies. Using spatula, ice cookies smooth using white buttercream or royal icing.

Tint remaining icing. Using Orange or your selected icing color, tint 1 cup icing dark orange.

Decorate cookies. Position random mixture of fall sprinkles along straight 3 in. side of cookie (use tweezers to place, if necessary).

Pipe names on cookies. Prepare the decorating bag with tip 3 and dark orange icing. Pipe names on cookies.
