Poppy Paint is designed for use on dry, solid confectionery surfaces, including:

Drying Times
- Poppy Paint: 10–30 seconds per layer
- Poppy Paint Pearlescents: 30–60 seconds per layer
- Poppy Paint Super Shine: 5–10 minutes per layer
Drying times may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
Poppy Thinner
Use Poppy Thinner to dilute Poppy Paint colors for lighter shades, blending, shading, and beautiful watercolor-style effects. Add a small amount at a time until the desired consistency and color intensity are achieved.
Important
Poppy Paint is hydrophobic and should be applied to completely dry surfaces. Avoid using on wet or porous surfaces such as gelatin, whipped cream, or buttercream, as the alcohol may absorb into the confection.
Directions
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Pigments naturally settle during storage. Shake each bottle vigorously until the color appears completely uniform.
If pigment has settled firmly at the bottom, gently squeeze or massage the bottom of the bottle to loosen the sediment, then shake thoroughly before using.
